WARDROBE is the first collection of hand-crafted upholstered furniture from Burnham Design.
From a trove of projects, drawings and inspiration, working with Los Angeles based craftspeople, Betsy has built a collection of key pieces in archetypal shapes that stylishly answer common design questions and form the basis for memorable rooms.

Betsy’s sophisticated and witty aesthetic and unstinting emphasis on tailoring and comfort shines through in this beautiful line of lounge chairs, sofas and dining chairs.

Wardrobe takes its name from the tailoring and classic fabrics found in Betsy’s own wardrobe: denim, twill, linen, heather grey wool and chambray. Livable comfort being the ultimate design goal, Betsy named each piece after characters in favorite “comfort” films: the Bridget sofa (“Bridget Jones’ Diary”), the Ripley wing chair (“The Talented Mr. Ripley”), the Benjamin and the Elaine (“The Graduate”).

Every piece is made to order.  The collection is manufactured locally and offered both to the trade and online through Burnham Design.  Trade clients can specify their own material.
